Shandong Carved-stone Art Museum

Founded in 1981, the Shandong Carved-stone Art Museum was the first professional stone carving art museum in Shandong. It was built to research, protect and promote the ancient stone carvings in Shandong province.
The Shandong Carved-stone Art Museum contains about 10,000 stone carvings. It has a collection of precious stone rubbings before the Sui (581-618) and Tang (618-907) dynasties and steles, portraits and cliff carvings in Shandong from between the Qin (221-206 BC) and Han dynasties (202 BC-220) to the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms Dynasties (907-960).
