The Quancheng Study – "Delivery Buddies" Post supported by Jinan Library won the second prize at the IFLA PressReader International Marketing Award on June 15.
Sponsored by PressReader, the award aims to recognize organizations that implement creative, results-oriented marketing projects or campaigns.
In 2020, the Jinan Library launched the Jinan Quancheng Study – "Delivery Buddies" Post program to better understand their patrons' needs and offer more reading resources to society.
The Quancheng Study reading rooms provide services to people from all walks of life, regardless of their occupation, age, educational background.
The "Delivery Buddies" Post program mainly serves couriers, food deliverymen and online ride-hailing drivers. It features a green channel for borrowing and returning of books and book recommendations. Reading sessions have also been held to enhance the enthusiasm for reading.
Jinan currently has 29 Quancheng Study reading rooms that attract nearly 100 deliverymen readers every day. It has welcomed a total of 70,000 deliverymen and hosted more than 90 reading promotion activities.
