Jinan plans to build international cooperation platforms including the International Investment Promotion Industrial Park, and accelerates the development of Sino-German SME Cooperation Zone, Sino-Italian High-end Frontier Industrial Park, Sino-Belarusian New Material Industrial Park, Sino-Japanese Industrial Park, Sino-ROK Industrial Park and other parks to promote exchanges and cooperation between the above-mentioned parks and foreign industrial parks.

Based on the industrial parks above, Jinan plans to cooperate with the industrial parks of the sister cities to establish the Sister City Industrial Park Alliance to share and release cooperation information and carry out project promotion with each other so as to form a cooperative pattern of sister cities with complementary advantages for high-quality development.

To date, Jinan has established sister-city relationships with 29 cities in 26 countries, and friendly cooperative city relationships with 57 cities in 32 countries.
