Maria Kondratieva, director of the International Department of Nizhny Novgorod city, Russia, sent her best wishes to Jinan via a video during the 10th Jinan International Spring Water Festival.

Jinan is one of the first cities to establish a sister city relationship with Nizhny Novgorod, said Maria, adding that since establishing a sister city relationship in 1994, the two sides have maintained a deep and friendly partnership and have cooperated productively in many aspects.

The annual international spring water festival has become an important event to promote the city's spring culture worldwide. This year's event, which concluded on Sept 30, featured a wide range of activities designed to promote the city's spring water culture.
