Jinan-based Shandong Huifeng Transmission Company is the main production center for spiral gears in China, accounting for more than 60 percent of the domestic market.
Amid the epidemic, Huifeng insisted on continuing production while carrying out strict prevention and control measures in a bid to ensure an ample supply of gears, according to Ren Qihua, CEO of the company.
Shandong Huifeng Transmission Company is mainly engaged in the research, development, production, and sale of key parts for transmission systems, especially for driving gears and shafts.
Its products are mainly used by renowned domestic and foreign automobile manufacturers such as FAW (First Auto Works), Dongfeng Motor, and SAIC Group.

The Huifeng transmission R&D team has developed more than more than 400 products, including mechanical engineering parts, rail transit wheels, and gearbox gear shafts, many of which lead their respective fields in China.
The company has more than 80 patents and has been awarded the “science and technology progress award” many times.
Talent is also necessary for technological innovation. "Our company is supported by a 52-member R&D team with an average age of 36, abundant experience, and many ideas," Ren said.
In addition to manufacturing precision parts, the company is also pursuing intelligent reform to improve its traditional technology. It currently boasts five automated production lines.
In the next two years, the company plans to continue innovating and producing precision forging technology for high-end equipment parts and developing high-end equipment for shipping, high-speed rail, and aerospace.
