The Second Conference of Great Business Partners and International Summit on Innovation and Development for Young Entrepreneurs opened on June 30 in Jinan, Shandong province.

The conference was attended by Global Fortune 500 companies, large State-owned enterprises, and top 500 Chinese enterprises seeking business opportunities in the province.

The event was held both online and offline and hosted online project promotion activities in the province's 16 cities, including Jinan, Qingdao, Yantai, Rizhao, Liaocheng, Weihai, and Dongying.

Sun Licheng, Party secretary of Jinan, Sun Shutao, mayor of Jinan, Bian Xianghui, deputy secretary of Jinan, and Yang Feng, director of the Jinan municipal publicity department, attended the Jinan online sub-venue.

A total of 662 guests were invited to attend the conference online. Yin Qingzhong, deputy mayor of Jinan, promoted the city's business environment to attendees.

Representatives of Shenzhen real estate developer Yuzhou Group, Shanghai-based conglomerate Fosun Group, JD.com, and Chinasoft International also delivered speeches online.

During the conference, a total of 24 major projects were signed.

The projects involved the headquarters economy, intelligent manufacturing and high-end equipment, new generation information technology, new energy and new materials, biomedicine, industrial finance, smart cities, and cultural tourism.
