Jinan Metro Line 2 has started its three months of unmanned trial operations, local media reported.

The metro line with a total length of 36.4 kilometers passes through 19 stations in the districts of Huaiyin, Tianqiao, Licheng, and Lixia from east to west. Its designed speed is 100 km/h and a one-way trip will take about 50 minutes.

It starts at Wangfuzhuang Station in the west and ends at Pengjiazhuang Station in the east. Commuters can transfer to Line 1 at Wangfuzhuang Station and Line 3 at Bajianpu Station.

The Bajianpu Station is the first intelligent metro station of Jinan. It integrates high-end technologies such as artificial intelligence, internet of things, and big data.
