Jinan, capital of East China's Shandong province, launched its first three mobile buses for COVID-19 vaccination in Tianqiao district on April 24.

The mobile buses were dispatched among three communities in Tianqiao to provide more convenience for residents. Each bus has a storage refrigerator which can store 1,200 vaccines.

The buses are equipped with air conditioning and ventilation equipment to provide a comfortable and safe inoculation environment for the public. Registration, waiting and observation areas are set up outside the bus. More than 30 medical workers perform vaccinations on the buses.

Nearly 1,600 people were vaccinated on the first day of the mobile bus vaccination service.
