The 14th China International Agro-machinery Exposition was held at the Jinan International Convention Center, East China's Shandong province from Feb 26 to 28.

Jointly organized by the Shandong Agricultural Machinery Industry Association and Shandong New Chenghua Exposition Company, the expo aims to provide a platform for international cooperation in the agricultural machinery field.        

The expo invited  international purchasers from 13 countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative, such as Russia, Kazakhstan, Iran and Nepal.

The theme of this year's expo was "New Agro-machinery, New Technology and New Trends". The expo covered 20,000 square meters and had 12 sub-district areas. Around 200 agriculture machine companies from across the world attended.

It displayed the whole process of agricultural production from seed production, plough and field management to harvesting, processing and stalk utilization. It also presented products and solutions covering the whole production chain such as combined harvest machines, power machinery and part accessories.

Some exhibitors offered on-site preferential policies for farmers to buy tractors, equipment for plant protection and agricultural implements.

A drone demonstration area was set up during the exposition where guests closely observed a series of drone plant protection spraying activities.

The expo also held the 2019 Sino-Foreign Agro-machinery Trade and Cooperation Forum where some well-known experts delivered keynote speeches.

Some representatives from overseas agricultural organizations from Russia, Japan, Iran and Nepal also gave detailed introductions of their status quos of agricultural mechanization, market demand and import and export policies.
