Jinan ICH artworks on show to celebrate CPC's centenary

An exhibition of 141 sets of intangible cultural heritage artworks kicked off at the Jinan Cultural Center on June 12 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.

The artworks include folk handcraft pieces such as Jinan magnetic carving, Jinan dough sculpture, paper cutting, micro carving, Lishan root carving and Jiyang black pottery.

A dough sculpture is on display at the exhibition. The artwork, titled "Forge Ahead into the Future" was made by seven artists over a period of seven months. The work features nearly 300 figures and is 3.65 meters long and 2.38 meters wide. [Photo/jinantimes.com.cn]
