Based in the Zhangqiu district of Jinan – capital city of East China's Shandong province – Iraeta Energy Equipment Co Ltd is recognized internationally for its advanced equipment and manufacturing capabilities, especially in the area of forged products that supply the renewable energy sector.

In 2022, the group achieved a great feat by producing a 15.673 meter-diameter nuclear power support ring for China's fourth-generation nuclear reactors, setting a Guinness World Record.

Meanwhile, the company is continuing to push the boundaries of manufacturing with the development of a key project aimed at producing ultra-large, critical forged components.

At the project site, impressive assets like the 22 meter-diameter ring rolling machine and 22,000-ton hydraulic forging press stand tall. These cutting-edge facilities are said to open new horizons for designing major industrial equipment.

Zheng Dongdong, general manager of a division in the company said: "This project features top-tier equipment for forging, rolling, heat treatment and machining.

"Once operational, it will produce a wide range of ultra-large forged components for critical sectors such as nuclear power, offshore wind energy, marine equipment and heavy machinery – becoming the shining jewels in major industrial projects and leading development trends," he added.

With a projected completion in 2026, Iraete's investment in high-end manufacturing and equipment aims to significantly boost production capacity and optimize its product structure – contributing to the growth of China's advanced equipment industry and the continued drive for innovation.
