A group of 10 artists from the Jinan Art Troupe staged a performance featuring traditional Chinese culture in Rennes, France on Oct 23-24.

Acrobatics, shadow puppets, paper cuttings and traditional Jinan dances and dramas enchanted local audiences.

The performance aimed to enhance people-to-people exchange and understanding between the two cities.

Jinan, capital of East China's Shandong province established sister city relations with Rennes in northwest France in 2002.

Since then, the two sides have maintained close ties both culturally and economically.
