Huaiyin to promote all-for-one tourism

Huaiyin district in Jinan, East China's Shandong province is making efforts to developing all-for-one tourism by highlighting featured rural tourism resources, the quality of tourism services and tourism products.

The district government plans to build a provincial demonstration zone for all-for-one tourism announced at a news conference on July 15.

Officials said that by 2022, tourism revenue in the district is expected to exceed 14.5 billion yuan ($2.07 billion) and the number of visitors is expected to increase by 20 percent.

Huanyin district enjoys rich historical and cultural resources. It has more than 10 historical sites including Fuxing Temple. Jixi Wetland Park, Yellow River, Xiaoqing River and Lashan River are the unique landscape in the district.

In 2019, the major attractions in Huaiyin received a total of 19.03 million tourists, generating 10.12 billion yuan of revenue, up 12.98 percent year on year.

To achieve its goal, Huaiyin supported a batch of leading cultural tourism projects such as Fantawild Oriental Heritage, and Impressions Jinan Spring World. It has cultivated villages focusing on developing rural tourism including Xijiazhuang, Xinpangzhuang and Longwangmiao villages.

Huaiyin will also improve its transportation system, establish an intelligent information platform, standardize tourism governance, and provide high-quality tourism products.
