A graduation ceremony for 2024 university students in Jinan was held at the Shandong Museum in Jinan on June 18.

The event featured sessions like an introduction of youth talent policies and related activities, signing ceremonies for new graduates starting their jobs, and a presentation of "gift packages" to outstanding graduates. Graduating students also shared stories about studying and growing in Jinan, while distinguished young professionals spoke about their experiences building their careers in the city.

"Nearly 230,000 university students will graduate in Jinan this year. Whether they choose to stay in Jinan or pursue opportunities elsewhere, we will continue to support, encourage, and have high hopes for everyone," said Liu Qiang, Party secretary of Jinan, at the graduation ceremony.

Jinan has further improved its talent policies of 30 measures for talent services and 30 for talent development environment, introduced 40 new measures to support graduate employment and entrepreneurship (2024 edition), and is accelerating its development into a youth-friendly city. This will provide more targeted job and business support, comprehensive housing guarantees, and thoughtful public services, Liu added.

Liu also wished all students success in their careers, happiness in their lives, and strong future development at the ceremony.
