Significant progress has been made on the first phase of Jinan Metro Line 7, with all 23 stations now under construction and eight sections fully connected, marking the project's transition into a stage of comprehensive and rapid development.

Stretching 30 kilometers, the first phase includes a 25.2-km underground section and an approximately 4.8-km elevated section. Running in a north-south direction, the line passes through Jinan's main urban area and serves key hubs including the Hanyu Golden Valley business center, the Jinan Central Business District, the Honglou Square, and the Jinan Start-up Area for Growth Drivers Transformation.

Jinan Metro Line 7 is the first metro line in Shandong province to cross the Yellow River and the second in China. Upon completion, it will connect with existing metro lines 2, 3, 4, and 6, as well as the planned line 9, which will greatly improve the coverage and efficiency of Jinan's metro network.

This line will strengthen connectivity between the city's main urban area and the Jinan Start-up Area for Growth Drivers Transformation and facilitate smoother travel across the Yellow River.
