Jinan highlights charm at CITM 2025
Jinan highlighted its unique appeal at the China International Travel Mart (CITM) held in Haikou, Hainan province, from Dec 19 to 21.
As Asia's largest tourism exhibition, the mart serves as a key platform for international tourism exchange and collaboration, drawing tourism institutions and travel agents from over 100 countries and regions this year.
The Jinan municipal bureau of culture and tourism, along with local tourism enterprises, promoted inbound travel routes, cultural and creative products, and direct domestic and international flights to the city. Ten major attractions, including Baotu Spring, Jiuru Mountain, and Lingyan Temple, were highlighted as ideal winter destinations.
Shandong Airlines introduced direct flights linking Jinan with Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Kuala Lumpur, planned for January 2026. During the matchmaking session, local enterprises engaged in discussions with international travel agents, resulting in more than 50 cooperation intentions.
