
Inspur Group in Jinan, Shandong province will increase investment in research and development and promote sci-tech innovation in 2021 to help drive the company's further development.
Next-generation information and communication technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing and 5G technology are playing a key role in promoting digital development in China, said Zou Qingzhong, CEO of Inspur Group, at the company's annual conference held on March 31.
Zou stressed that Inspur will ramp up more efforts in promoting the upgrading of technologies and increase investment in scientific innovation.
"Our R&D spending is expected to increase by over 1.3 percentage points this year and the figure will grow by 2 points in the next year," he said.
The company will also make full use of its scientific research platforms and strengthen cooperation with colleges and institutions to achieve more scientific payoffs. In addition, it will lure more high-end talent with incentive funds.
