The night market at Quancheng Square opened on July 26 and will run daily from 5 to 9 pm until July 30. Not far from the market, an anime festival is drawing a younger crowd to the square. Tailored to Generation Z, the event includes interactive activities like an autograph wall, a postcard stamping area, and a range of creative cultural products, providing an engaging experience for visitors.
The festival also highlights Jinan's literary heritage with a poetry competition on July 27-28 at the Baihuazhou Historical Cultural Block. Featuring top performers from the Chinese Poetry Conference, this event offers poetry lovers the chance to enjoy rich cultural performances and dive deeper into the city's literary history.
Starting Aug 1, the festival will shift its focus to live music performances, with local artists presenting a mix of folk songs, rock ballads, and small concerts. These performances aim to bring Jinan's artistic spirit to life, inviting both residents and visitors to connect with the city's vibrant creative scene.
With such a diverse range of events, Jinan is shaping up to provide an unforgettable cultural experience during this year's international festival of springs.
