Jinan, capital of East China's Shandong province, opened its first bullet train line to Yinchuan, Ningxia Hui autonomous region as China launched the new version of its railway timetable on June 25.

The direct high-speed train from Jinan West Station to Yinchuan reduces the travelling time by six hours and nine minutes compared with ordinary trains.

According to the timetable, Jinan has opened an additional 22 pairs of passenger trains.

The Jinan West Station also opened bullet trains to Hankou, Hubei province, reducing the travelling time to 4 hours and 38 minutes.

In addition, 11 smart Fuxing bullet trains will be put into use at Jinan West Railway Station. These trains are integrated with 5G, big data, and cloud computing technologies. They are also equipped with facilities such as vending machines and accessible carriages. All seats have been optimized based on human engineering, making the travel experience more comfortable and enjoyable for passengers.
