Jinan launches mobile nucleic acid test buses

A batch of newly developed nucleic acid test buses was launched in Jinan's Laiwu district on April 30 to aid in COVID-19 prevention and control.

The testing vehicle is powered entirely by new electric energy and has a width of less than 1.5 meters and a length of 3.5 meters, making it ideal for entering residential areas.

Medical professionals aboard mobile nucleic acid testing buses are separated by a pane of glass from the person being sampled, effectively reducing contact. The bus has an ultraviolet disinfection unit as well as a tiny refrigerator that can store test tubes.

The vehicle is developed by Horche Intelligent Vehicles Co. The company has produced vehicles featuring nucleic acid testing, disinfection, deliveries and intelligent isolation cabins. These products have been delivered to Shanghai and put into use to help epidemic prevention in the city.
