
The revenue of China National Heavy Duty Truck Group, also known as Sinotruk reached 98.2 billion yuan ($14.97 billion), up 56.8 percent year-on-year in 2020. The company's total profit last year grew by 92.5 percent to 9.55 billion yuan.
The increases were mainly due to the sales increase in heavy and light trucks. Sinotruk sold 247,000 heavy trucks in 2020, up 91.2 percent year-on-year, and sales of light trucks hit 181,000 vehicles, up 65.6 percent year-on-year.
The company's exports ranked first in the domestic market this year amid the pandemic. According to official data, Sinotruk has been the top exporter of domestic heavy trucks for 16 consecutive years in China.
In 2021, Sinotruk will continue to increase R&D investment to develop technologies related to intelligent driving, internet of vehicles, and new energy.
The company will improve its marketing service system and optimize its services for clients by providing parts supply channels, increasing service efficiency, and improve service policies.
